There are so many reasons to love a new build home, however, they can often be lacking in the personality department. Sometimes, the new needs a little bit of the old, sprinkled in.
It is always a great idea decided to change up some things without having to renovate, simply by switching up the paint and fixtures. It’s pretty incredible what a transformation these things alone can make. In fact, it’s a great option for anyone who can’t budget for remodelling but still wants a whole lot of impact. So, a kitchen is such an important space to us. We love to cook up a storm and whip up cocktails for ourselves and our loved ones, so this room always tends to get a lot of action. It should be a place we love spending time in and that feels inviting to all of our guests, too.
Step one to spice up a space is gathering inspiration and creating mood boards. I always gravitate toward greens and blues in a space, so seeing many of the spaces with these accents really inspired me. Going with a deep rich blue colour that, depending on the day, can read as navy or even teal and contrasted it with bronze faucets to give the space some warmth. Bronze is s go to finish and you can never go wrong with it.
The navy colour for the cabinets is a cool colour, so I love to balance that with warm fixtures and hardware. Design-wise, it seamlessly blends industrial and classical elements. The nuts and bolts add some character and weight to the kitchen sink. This showstopper isn’t just great to look at, it’s going to help complete all the kitchen tasks a little better and easier!

And the party don’t just stop there. To make the new sink area even more useful, you can add a Glass Rinser and Traditional Beverage Faucet. The Glass Rinser gets into hard-to-reach areas with high-pressure water jets, so cleaning tall glasses or bottles will no longer be a project. This is really going to help when you are on bartending duty for your guest! And the Beverage Faucet will give you access to purified drinking water straight from the sink. So, it’s an essential upgrade if you’re thinking of giving your faucet a makeover!

No matter if you’re personalizing a new build or looking for a simple way to update an older space that needs a little new life, you’ll be amazed at what a difference these touches can make!
